Stephanie + Nelson ~ Married!

Stephanie’s heart is beautiful and gentle and kind and loving.  Her soul resonates love.  When I hear her laugh and see her smile my heart flutters and my eyes well up.  This wedding was so special for me, as Stephanie was my middle son’s kindergarten teacher last year.  She hugged him and taught him and loved him each day.  We are blessed that his heart was stamped by her.

Because I love Stephanie so, it filled my heart to watch her celebrate her sweet, sweet love for Nelson.  Nelson is amazing.  He is handsome.  He is funny.  And he has killer.dance.moves (& can rock the mic too).  These two are a duo of FUN (check out their cake cutting photos).   Thank you, Stephanie + Nelson, for inviting us to share in your day.  We cried in joy, laughed in celebration and busted-a-move or two at the reception.  It was great fun and a super moon type, perfect day.

It was the night of the super moon, so its only fitting that Nelson was sporting a super smile all night.  I just love his expression as he squeezes his bride before whisking her away for forever.
HUGE thank you to my amazing, can’t-do-it-without-you, second shooter, Tricia Williams!

MaryKaren & Kurt – Married!

To know MaryKaren is to love her….and oh I how I love her.  MaryKaren is passionate and kind and humble.  She loves the Lord, first and foremost, and He blessed her with an amazing man in Kurt.  Their wedding day was full of family and friends who ADORE them.  It was a day of great celebration, full of laughter and joyful tears….covenant promises and sweet kisses….toasts and tight squeezes…and dancing…lots of dancing!

MaryKaren is so animated in almost every photo in this blog post.  She is full.of.joy and its an incredible blessing to be around her.  I am so thankful to know how much MaryKaren’s heart is filled up by Kurt and I equally LOVE that Kurt is now married to a woman who will flash him that joyful, amazing, loving smile every.single.day.  Truly a blessing from above!

Thank you, MaryKaren and Kurt for sharing such a special day with me.  Your wedding will forever be stamped on my heart.  xo

Thank you, Tricia Williams, for these next two photos of Kurt and his groomsmen!

First looks are so beautiful and special.  This one was no different.  We had planned to be outside, but due to the rain we selected this staircase instead.  Honestly, MaryKaren and Kurt could have had their first look in a cardboard box and it still would have been perfect.  They were both so full of joy and thankfulness and love and excitement.    I was honored to be a part of such a cherished time (and I’m teary just remembering it).

Adri & Carolyn & The Whole Tulip

I love having so many clients that I can learn from.  Adri and Carolyn are holistic health coaches and are such incredible resources.  They were such a great support for me 6 weeks ago when I transitioned one of my sons to a corn-free, soy-free, wheat-free diet — and they continue to be a source of knowledge and inspiration during this journey.  My guy’s results (physical and emotional) have been ASTONISHING (an entire blog post in itself).  I am officially a firm believer in the overall impact of diet on physical health and emotional wellness.  As a bonus, Adri and Carolyn are walking testaments that if you eat right, your skin looks amazing — just look at them!  Want to learn more?  Check out their blog: http://www.thewholetulip.com.  And if you’re feeling really motivated, join me for The Whole Tulip Cleanse.  It starts June 17th — and the results of past groups have been amazing!  I can’t wait to get started!
