Alex ~ Allison ~ Greg

{Brooke Brown ~ Huntersville Family Photographer}

I  loved my time with Alex, Allison and Greg.  Between Allison and I we had enough props, clothing changes, and laughter to last a dozen photo sessions.  I took more photos than I should admit to and I agonized while narrowing down my favorites.  Here are just a few of those favorite photos and some of my favorite things about Alex and this session.

I loved his eyes.

I loved his ears.

I loved his eyelashes.

I loved his nose.

I loved his sweet, little mouth.  Drool and all.

I loved his hands and feet.  And his favorite book: Just Like Daddy.

I loved how Alex rested his hand on his dad’s shoulder and then gave me this look, as if to say, “when my daddy’s holding me, I’m protected.  From everything.”

{Mom is an amazing protector, too}

I loved how Alex looked into his father’s eyes, ready to soak up all of his wisdom.

I loved the sweet “behind the scenes” moments.  I mean, look at that baby face (trust me, I have about six shots like this and I love each one more than the next).

I loved Allison’s joy while putting on Alex’s precious little linen shirt.  A mom doing everyday things with her son.  Warms my heart.

And his eyes.  Did I mention that I loved his eyes?

I loved the joy and playfulness of time spent with his mother.

I loved this chair.  It belonged to Greg when he was young.  Greg repainted it with Alex’s name on it.  I’m already envisioning Alex repainting it for his son, someday.

I loved Alex’s interest and intrigue in a little Ghanian drum that I brought.  I loved that Allison got a kick out of it and set up a “tips” sign.

I loved this family.

I loved this boy.
